Barry Schwartz during a TED Talk about the paradox of choice:
What he says rings true. With so many choices out there customers get overwhelmed and can’t decide. This is why it’s best to communicate with your customer. Find their wants and needs and then offer them a few choices based on your expertise of what they need. Then refine it from there!
Here at Bargain Banners By JON, John, Dan, and the rest of the Team subscribe to this theory of doing business. When things are overly complicated customers can’t pick. This is why our new online banner store (they’re not cheap banners, they’re a bargain!) keeps things simple.
Of course if people want full color banners or anything else they can simply email us.
That’s right, by popular demand we have finally began offering four foot tall vinyl banners on our online store. Now many might wonder why we didn’t offer them before, the reason is simple, cost!
Our banner store has been designed with keeping prices low and ordering easy! Four foot tall banners are bigger than most people’s needs. Now you’ll immediately notice the price is higher than our 2′ and 3′ banners. This is because our 4′ banners are made with 18 oz material instead of the standard 13 oz. Why do we do this? Because these banners are heavy duty and built seriously tough! When banners start getting this size they catch a lot of wind. So we prefer the 18 oz material to hold up to whatever nature can dish out.
Now keep in mind, there’s nothing wrong with 13 oz material. It’s actually the de facto standard for banners. It’s not the cheap 10 oz material or tyvek banners our competition is selling online (at our prices or even higher). We just prefer the 18 oz for banners this large and haven’t had a problem. Our customers agree that a small additional cost for the better material produces a banner that holds up and lasts and lasts!
Banners aren’t just for advertising for a business. Special occasions can also use banners. A popular banner we sell is the Welcome Home Banner. This banners is great for soldiers returning home or sick loved ones coming back from the hospital. Obviously, we can personalize this banner with their name or anything else you’d like added.
Banners are also great for things like graduation parties, wedding receptions, birthdays, or anything else. They can be put on the street to help direct traffic to the party, or used at the party.
Real estate agents love banners and signs. They’re perfect for “Home For Sale” or “Open House Today.” Just hang up the banner between two trees or strap it to the garage door. It will be seen! Of course, we can customize those banners for you. Perhaps you’d like your phone number and name on them also. You don’t have to be a real estate agent for them! If you’re selling your house privately this is a great way to get your home noticed.
Yard signs are very important. If you want to look professional, you need professional signage. Instead of some paint stir sticks and some construction paper at the end of the street, present yourself professionally with a beautiful chloroplast yard sign. Attractive sign is more effective than something that looks like it was done in 5th grade arts and crafts! We can supply these too! Just email us.
Recently I had a customer tell me they weren’t interested in a custom vinyl banner for their business. When I inquired why, he informed me that his suppliers provided him with banners for the products he used and sold. I explained to him the problem with pre-made banners is they’re advertising those products and marketing for those brands. Instead, your goal should be to advertise YOURSELF and brand YOURSELF!
This is the importance of custom banners. Sure, you can also display any brand logo you’re licensed to use, but most importantly you can sell yourself to your customers. For those potential customers that pass by your banner, do you want them to remember a product or your business name?
That’s why effective signage and banners are so important. They help customers remember you!
Recently someone said my banners were cheap! I was almost offended! The price is cheap, but our banners are a bargain. We scarifice nothing here at Bargain Banners by JON.
Our banners are of the highest quality construction. There are several ways to make banners, and while each has it’s benefits, each has it’s drawbacks. We prefer taped or heat welded seams. In our experience, these hold up much better to wind. I don’t know where you’re at (I will once you order though), but around here it gets windy! If I had a nickle for everytime I’ve seen a sewn banner tear along the seam like perforated notebook paper I’d be a rich man. Oh wait, I do have a nickle for everytime! When a customer has a bad experience like that they usually switch to us!
I’ll be honest with you, banners are temporary signage (as opposed to permanantly mounted signs), but we do everything to make sure they last. Not only do we use the strongest and best banners we can find, but the vinyl we use to letter it is always quality. We proudly use 3M Series 50, ORACAL 651/751 (cast), and Shrinerite (made by General Formulations). Compare that to some of our competition! Ask them what vinyl they use and a lot them won’t tell you. This is because they’re embrassed, they don’t know, or they buy the cheapest made imported vinyl they can find on ebay! We’d rather spend a little more and make sure that the banner you receive won’t fail prematurely.
Our full color printed banners aren’t cheap either! We print with solvent based ink. Many of our competitors advertise they use UV ink. This means they’re printing with waterbased ink that has a very limited outdoor life. Our printed banners will last up to 3 years in the sun. Anyone that claims their’s will last longer either isn’t planning on being in business that long, or is ignorant of the inks capabilities. We don’t deceive our customers, we treat them like friends.
